My Confinement in the Hospital

These are my church mates. These pictures was taken when our church building was still in construction.

During my confinement at the hospital, I was touched by the lives of some of my churchmate swho gave their time to show they are concerned for me. One of them is Liza. Liza is very close to our family and we already consider her as part of our family she also doesn't have relatives from this place since her family is originally from Manila. She is married to a sailor and her 4 children are already grown up. Liza is a gentle person, soft spoken and a very simple woman. I was blessed because she spend her day with me in the hospital and volunteered to be the "errand girl" to buy some of my medicines which were not available at the hospital pharmacy. To think that she is living comfortably in life but you can see her humbleness in everything. I really appreciated her and thank God for her life.

Another church mate whom I've been blessed is Paula. She is actually preparing herself for her coming board exam in Nursing but she took time to visit me. An you know what? She cooked congee with chicken for me and brought it to the hospital. I thank God for her life and praying that she will pass her upcoming board exam.

Of course, there were some church mates, relatives and friends who visited me during my one week confinement bringing food stuff which I truly much appreciated. One of my closest nephew just even visited me in the house because he only knew of my confinement after I already checked out from the hospital.

My heart is truly thankful to God for the lives of these sweet people. Indeed, there is joy in my heart knowing that there are many people who care for me and were concerned about me. It is my prayer that the Lord will bless them many folds as they are truly a blessing to me.

Thank you Lord!
