Laparascopic Surgery

Before my confinement at the hospital, I had a medical check up because I thought that the pain I was feeling was due to gastroenteritis. As advised by my doctor, I went for an ultra sound test and it was found out that I had a gallstone. So, my doctor told me that those gallstone should be taken out or else I will suffer much pain later on. He told me he will perform it using a procedure called, Laparascopic Surgery. He strongly adviced this procedure because it will take only 3 days healing and I will be back to normal life again. Even though this kind of operation is more expensive than the normal method, but opted for this so that I will be spared from for many days of discomforts and pain.

This is how my doctor explained about Laparascopic Surgery:

"It is called minimally invasive surgery, bandaid surgery or keyhole surgery. It is modern surgical technique in which operations in the abdomen are performed through small incision usually 0.5-1.5 cm. as compared to larger incisions needed in traditional surgical procedures."

Of course, I didn't have my surgery immediately after the check up because I felt I was not really physically and financially ready yet. So I told my doctor that I will just informed him when I'm ready. But after a few days, I had to admit myself because I was constantly vomitting and experiencing pain in my abdomen. (please read my post "God Works in Amazing Ways").

And indeed, the healing of my gallstone surgery was only for a few days but now I am still in my recovering period of my other surgery. But I Praise God for His strength and provision!
