Last October 27, 2012, our school, Little Evangel Christian School celebrated United Nations Day. The children enjoyed their participation representing one of the countries in Asia.(as you can see in their pictures). My youngest granddaughter Zane is one of the participants.. She was so excited on her costume as Miss China and Miss India during their dance number. The program went well and the children went home happy and their parents also were all in appreciation that their expenses on the costume of their children was worth it. All glory belongs to God!

True enough the children went home happy as seen in their faces... And Z boy thanks her mom's for the effort and time she spent just to make him happy. Praise God!

Pastors Appreciation Sunday

Last other Sunday was our Honoring Pastors Service in our Church. Here in the Philippines all Christian Churches set aside the month of October as "Pastors Month" honoring all their Pastors. You see, we are celebrating Mothers and Fathers Day, Teachers Day and etc. so they have decided to have Pastors Day also..As for me, this is a good idea for I know the hard work Pastors are going through without thinking of their compensation instead spending their own money just  working because they love God. I know of many Pastors which I am  so blessed of their lives sacrificing just for the expansion of God's kingdom.  So honoring them is one way to let them know that we appreciated their hard work.

Yes! that Sunday, I believe our Pastors were greatly appreciated because almost all the congregation gave gifts to them and some members also brought food so we had fellowship together. There was also fun when one of the programs was the impersonations of each pastor.

So every body enjoyed the fun and had a joyous day! God bless our Pastors!

Thanks for my grand niece who uploaded this photo in my Facebook account. I miss this meme in which I like the concept as it will remind us of some memorable moments. It is only sad that my old pictures were washed out during the typhoon "Sendong". ( You can read my post about it.)

Well, this is my late husband doing Archery...It was one of his favorite sports before and active when our children were still young. I felt a little sad that his bow and arrow was included in the washed out of our house. It might be that one of his grandchildren can be in this sport and still can used that instrument...but ... anyways it is now memories......

This gathering was held at the function hall of "The Courtyards". which only our closes relatives attended. My son and daughter in law gave testimonies of how God has blessed them tremendously while working in His kingdom.
