wfw - Your Desire to Know God

Jeremiah 29:13 "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

God would have been cruel to create you with a desire to know Him unless He had also made provision for that need to be met, for your questions to be answered, and for your search to end in His embracing you in His great love. He put thirst in your heart to that He could fully satisfy it.

Do you want to know God in a deeper and more fulfilling way? Humble your heart, bend your knees and tell Him. Let the words flow, tears too. He knows and understands.

At Changi Airport

The above pictures were taken at Changi Airport in Singapore. As I had posted I was alone in going back to the Philippines as my other daughter, Beam's family went ahead in going home because of their works. So, we decided that my exit to the Philippines was Singapore as my nephew and nieces were there at that time having their vacation. They met me at the airport when I arrived from Hatyai, Thailand. Indeed it was a joyous and enjoyable travel being with them besides taking care of me. They are the children of my eldest daughter who are very close to me. I can't imagined if I was alone in my travel as we spent many hours at the NAIA airport waiting for our domestic flight the following day. Praise God! for their lives.

wfw - Where do we find God?

LinkJohn 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me."

So where do we find God? Anyone who comes to the foot of Jesus' cross will find his search for God is over. It is the intersection of time and eternity, of mortal man and invisible God, of our sins and God's forgiveness. It is through what Jesus did that we find God and make peace with Him.

A Train Experience

The above pictures were taken in the train. We rode in the train going to Bangkok for our flight to Vietnam. You see, the residence of Love's family in Thailand is located at the South and it is a very far distance for the capital city, Bangkok. So in order to reach this place one can take a plane, a train or a bus. We decided to just ride in a train with the group from the Philippines (my other daughter Beam's family and some church members) for some experience. And besides the group from the Philippines also were having their flight back to the Philippines so we thought it was more fun and more time to be with them. Well, it was really a great experience, the inconvenience and the noise of the train and so much time incurred on our travel. That is why when we returned to Bangkok from Vietnam we decided to take the domestic flight back to the place of Love's family.

wfw - Worship

John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

We need to rediscover what worship is all about. It is more than attending church. It is more than singing songs or hymns or reciting liturgy and praying prayers. It deals more with your heart than your body. It is the submission of your soul to the Almighty, recognizing His person, His majesty, and His sovereign will in our lives.

I just remembered it now that I took note of this food at the cute notebook of Tricia. lol! We ordered this when we had our dinner in one of the finest and known restaurant located at Tesco in Thailand. I just hope one of you recognize this food, it is very yummy!

This photo was taken in our former residence, I think after the graduation ball of Mayette. And I am sure that it was after the graduation of Love as she was still wearing her medal of excellence. Perhaps the graduation ball of Mayette and Love's graduation ceremony was on the same day.lol!

wfw - Darkness

John 1:4-5 "In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it."

Some become convinced that God has closed the door on them. If you have already trusted Jesus as your Savior, you need not fear that. Only those with no spiritual sensitivity are truly in the dark--they are indifferent to the darkness. But if you feel you are in the dark and you do not like it, there is hope. The darkness yields to the smallest light, Jesus intention is for you to let Him light up your life with His presence, and then you will never walk in darkness again.

When my son's family was here for a visit, with their friends from Singapore and Manila and also here in Cagayan de Oro, we went to Dahilayan Zip Zone and stayed overnight at Forest Park. We enjoyed our stay on that place and even made a tour at their Dahilayan Garden. My grandkids also enjoyed playing at the Forest Park playground. These are our pictures:

This picture was taken during the 18th birthday of Mayette, my daughter. It was only a simple celebration that it was held in our house. But I knew she enjoyed it as it was well attended by her classmates and friends at that time.

wfw - JOY

Romans 14:17 " For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."

Surprisingly the word JOY is mentioned over 200 times in some forty references found in the Bible. The blessing of God to the lives of those who are citizens of God's Kingdom produces a deep-seated joy that is not dependent on health, wealth or circumstances. It is based on one's relationship with God who Himself has touched a person's life for the better.

With my best friend

When I went to Thailand last November 2010, I was with my best friend, Clem and her sister, Lingay. We were together in traveling from the Philippines to Bangkok, Thailand and then to the southern part of Thailand which is Hatyai. where my youngest daughter's family is residing. Clem and Lingay just stay overnight in Hatyai and proceeded their tour to Malaysia and then to Singapore. I was left alone with the family of Beam, my other daughter with her family and some of our church leaders. You see. Lingay, the sister of Clem is residing in Hawaii so it was her first time to visit Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore as she has been to other Asian countries as well. I've found out later they had an enjoyable tour.
